Doris B. Suggs, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to glory on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Columbus Hospice.
Mrs. Suggs was born October 22, 1928 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Corinne Baldwin and Eli Brooks. Doris retired from National Linen Service after twenty-two years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Suggs, Jr., and son, David E. Suggs.
Survivors include her loving children, Gwen Jackson, Linda J. Suggs, Delores Williams, Valerie Sellers, Cheryl S. Jackson and Dexter E. Suggs.
The family would like to thank their friends for their love and support, especially the wonderful staff of Columbus Hospice.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Metropolitan Baptist Church featuring Dr. Curtis Crocker.
