Dorothy “Diane” Affleck of Slidell, Louisiana, born June 25, 1949, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025 in the arms of two of her daughters, Tammy Brewer and Debbie Buttacavoli. Diane was preceded in death by her husband Gene Affleck, parents Barney and Dorothy Creamer and brothers Alan and Ronald Creamer. She is survived by her brothers Doug Creamer (Donna) and Wayne Creamer (Cindy), sister Donna Morgan(Arthur), and daughters Tammy Brewer, Debbie Buttacavoli and Windie Speed as well as nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Diane was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. Diane was a loving soul who leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness and joy. She lived according to a belief that everyone deserves to be loved.

A special thank you is given to Affinis Hospice for the exceptional care they showed Diane in her final days.

A memorial service for Diane will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 2051 Pierce Road, Phenix City, Alabama, 36867 on Tuesday, July 1st at 11:00 am Eastern Time. The service will be officiated by Reverend Jonathan McLain.

Georgia Cremation-Columbus is assisting the family with the arrangements.
