Duane Foutz, age 71, of Grayson, GA passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023.
Duane was retired from his job as project manager at AT&T. Duane enjoyed woodworking and crafts and was very creative.
Duane was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Shupe, and his father Roy Foutz. Duane is survived by his wife, Robin; sister, Victoria Drumheller; niece, Kimberly Thomas (Troy); nephew, Matthew Skarbek (Nikki); and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2 PM at Snellville United Methodist Church, 2428 Main Street East Snellville, GA 30078. Light Refreshments will be served following the service in Wesley Hall.
Georgia Cremation in Duluth is assisting the family with arrangements.

50 years ago! Wow. Duane and I worked at UCS out on Municipal Road, Rke. Although I was in the Accounting Dept and he was in the plant (opposite sides of the building) whenever I came face-to-face with him, it was MAGIC! He had such a delightful personality. If within 2 or 3 days, I hadn’t seen him I’d make my way to the plant area to make, again like I say — revisit that period of MAGIC when I was with him.

Duane was a friend from both UCS and BCS also with brother Jackie through church and UCS he was a great friend and over all good guy and will be greatly missed until we meet again.

Went to high school with Duane,,rode the school bus together and had small chit chats. He was always a plesant and nice guy. Never heard a bad word or comment from him. Worked with him briefly at UCS. Always had a smile. He will be missed by us all. Prayers for his family.
