Eddie Wayne Driggers was born October 19, 1959 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Rollo Driggers and Martha Phillips. He was employed as a house painter for Bruce Hutto. When he was not working, Eddie enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He was an Alabama Football fan and a NASCAR fan. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Eddie loved and was loved dearly by his son, Paxton.
Eddie Wayne Driggers, 59, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Columbus Hospice. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bennie Driggers.
Survivors include his son, Paxton Wayne Driggers of Phenix City, AL, sister; Wanda Phillips of Phenix City, AL, and brother; Donnie Driggers of Richland, GA.
A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA 31909.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Columbus Hospice.

Eddie and I Richard Edmundson grew up together when I lived in Riverview Apartments and went to school together up unto Central Jr. High School. He was a very good friend and will be missed. May God wrap you in His Loving Arms. There will be No more pain, tears, or heartbreak.
