Edna Callie Curley Chatwood, 78 of Columbus passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Chatwood was born November 26, 1946 in Columbus, the daughter of Marion Jordan Curley and Callie Florine Moss Curley. She enjoyed thrift shopping, cooking, crocheting and playing Candy Crush.
Mrs. Chatwood was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emory A. Chatwood; her son, Emory D. Chatwood; three grandchildren, Scott Chatwood, Tabitha Chatwood and William Chatwood.
Survivors include her two sons, John (Johanna) Chatwood of Columbus and Marion Chatwood of Columbus; one brother, Johnny ( Veda) Curley of Columbus: two sisters, Joan Lewis of Columbus and Lucy Warr of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Melissa Castellanos, John Jr. (Kelee) Chatwood, Jordan (Jeirymar) Chatwood and eleven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Bellwood Church of God, 1113 43rd St., Columbus, GA 31904 with Pastor Robert O’Neil Sanders officiating.
