Elizabeth Jacobs (Vee), age 69, of Columbus, GA, gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Born to Evelyn & Harold Powell on January 12, 1955, in Bartow, Florida, she was one of five children. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jacobs, brother Jerry Powell, parents, Evelyn & Harold Powell and niece, Crystal Wright. 

She is survived by two brothers Jimmy Powell, Johnny Powell and a sister, Cathy Wright (Bryan).  Two Children Heather Barcus and Kenneth Jacobs Jr. (Lisa). Six grandchildren, Michelle Lott (Justin), Charles Barcus (Hayley), Cody Barcus, Chris Barcus, Ashley Jacobs, Erica Bates (Caleb), and Kennedy Jacobs. Twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

After the death of her niece Crystal Wright in 2004, she stepped up and helped raise her two children, then when the children’s father passed in 2017, she was all they had.  She would always say “I’m not turning my back on Cricket & Ricks kids”.
