Mrs. Emma Hubbard Fowler, 86, of Phenix City, AL passed away on December 21, 2021.
Mrs. Fowler was born on July 14, 1935 in Columbus, GA to Thomas and Vida Brady.
Mrs. Fowler retired from Swift Textiles. She had a passion for sewing, crafting, decorating cakes, parties and holidays. Halloween was her favorite holiday and remains a favorite for all of the girls in the family. After creating a blended family with her late husband George, one of her final wishes was that the blended family remain blended.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Fowler, parents; Thomas and Vida Brady, daughter; Dianne Stokes, and step-son; Bruce Hartley.
She is survived by her daughters; Ila Bentley, Kathy Sanders, Debbie Collins, Monse Burkett, Sudie Johnston, Wilma McVay, Gloria Fowler and Vicki Hodge, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to a church of your choice.
A memorial service will be held 3:00pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Hamilton, GA with pastor Derrick Millirons officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Due to the covid pandemic, masks are highly encouraged in an effort to keep everyone safe during these times. All service inquiries need to be directed to Georgia Cremation.

I will never forget Emma. She took my husband and I in for a week when we needed lodging. She was so kind and loving not to mention so generous. Praying for all the family.
