Eric Moore, age 60, of Norcross, Georgia passed away on May 25, 2020. Eric was born on January 31, 1960 to Willie C. and Vernon T. Moore in Chicago, IL. He was the second of two children. He married Prette Hardin and from that union, they produced one child, Aja Moore.
Eric was a man who would always stand behind the people he loved. He loved going to the drag strip and watching the races and would be out there for hours. He enjoyed staying active and in shape. Everyday he would take a walk or the hit the gym somewhere.
Eric was an amazing truck driver for over 30 years. He provided for his family by hitting the highways of America doing what he loved most. Eric was a great cook and loved to grill and cook for anyone who came by. He loved entertaining for family and friends with his cheesy jokes and silly personality. He was the person you could go to if you ever needed a laugh. Eric had a good heart and was someone who you could always count on. He was a protector who would stand as tall as a tree for his family and loved ones. Eric was someone you could never forget.
He was a loving, caring father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will always be remembered for his vibrant personality and contagious laughter.
Eric is survived by his beloved mother, Vernon T. Moore; sister, Beverly; daughter, Aja Moore; son Eric Moore Jr.; love interest, Sabrina Hall; and a host of family and friends.
