Known as Junior to his family and friends, Ernest Eugene Pippin Jr (73) of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday October 24th 2022 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital. He was a father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. For the majority of his life, he worked as an Industrial Machinist at companies including Lummus Industries, Columbus Precision Machining, J&W Medals, Pratt & Whitney and Gentry Machine Works. His last position was at Gentry’s Machine Works as a Machinist in Columbus GA. Some of his favorite activities included fishing and watching professional football and baseball. His favorite teams were the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves. Junior is survived by his two daughters, Stacy Pippin Johnson of Box Springs, GA and Christy Pippin of South Carolina, and granddaughter Angel Pippin of Salem AL. He is also survived by four of his eight sisters; Barbara L Preskitt, Annie E Jenkins, Julia P Webster (Trit) and Patti Pippin-Tharpe. Preceding Junior in death was his father Ernest Eugene Pippin Sr, mother Helen Othell Watson also known as Big Moma, and sisters Ida Ernestine Essex, Shirley Jean Rideout, Martharene Baxley (Mott) and Betty Louise Willard.

A Service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park at 4500 St Marys Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Saturday October 29th at 4 PM.
