FOLEY – Ruth M. Hahn was born in Chicago, IL on July 18, 1931 to J. Paul and Florence Hahn.  In 1956, she married Thomas W. Foley and began a family which eventually included a daughter, Eileen and two sons, Thomas Jr. and John.  The family lived for 14 yrs in Lombard, IL where Ruth was active on a bowling league and activities involving her children.  The family then relocated to Dunwoody, GA.  Ruth and her husband, Tom, took many wonderful trips together as they settled into the South, although they never lost their Chicago accents.  Ruth thoroughly enjoyed her friends, neighbors, bowling league and bridge club on Woodsong Court.  Until recently, Ruth lived at Belmont Village in Johns Creek, where she met new friends and a most wonderful staff.  Ruth passed away on July 1, 2015.  Ruth was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Thomas W. Foley and son, John Foley.  She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Stenhoff & David Hoagland; granddaughters, Erin Smith & Whitney Stenhoff; son, Thomas Foley; daughter-in-law, Tammy (Kincaid); grandchildren, Brian & Bethany Foley.  She is also survived by her sister, Lois Quinn; brother-in-law, John Mellon and many nieces and nephews in Chicago and Connecticut.  A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at All Saints Catholic Church, Dunwoody, GA at 10:30 A.M.  Contributions can be made to Weinstein Hospice, 3150 Howell Mill Road, NW, Atlanta, GA  30327-2108  www.weinsteinhospice.com 404.352.4308.  Georgia Cremation 3116 U.S. Highway 23, Duluth, GA 30096 www.GeorgiaCremation.com 678-584-0914 is assisting the family with local arrangements.
