Frankie Ramona Elkins, also known as Frankie, departed from this world on April 22, 2023, at the age of 64, in Columbus, Georgia. She was born on February 7, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Geraldine and Raymond James.
Frankie was a woman full of life, always radiating with joy and warmth. Her sweet and outgoing personality endeared her to her family and friends, making her a true gem of a person. Her interests included gardening, painting, and drawing, and she was known for her beautiful creations.
Frankie is survived by her sisters Robin Holcombe (Bobby), Jeannie Sharp (Peter), Sandy Morris (Gary), and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine and Raymond James, brother Frank James, and her son Tony Grimes. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
A private service to commemorate Frankie’s life and legacy will be held by her family. May she rest in peace, and may her family and friends find comfort in the memories they shared with her.
