Wanda and Hollis Brown Jr says
Goldie was the best Godmother anyone could ever have. I will always remember her as the loving and caring person that she was. I will never be able to thank her for looking past the outside and seeing what was on the inside. She always told me I had “to big heart”. She will be deeply missed by me and my wife. We love you Miss Goldie…you are in God’s hands now, Wanda & Hollis Brown, Jr, Milledgeville, Georgia

Janice Bates says
We will really miss Ms. Goldie’s smile and all the children in our church will miss her. She always had a hug and a piece of candy for them. They would always look for her and when they saw her you see the smile on their face. They knew they were special to her.

Pastor David Lyle says
It has been a great honor to be both pastor and friend to Ms. Goldie. I will always remember, with fondness and gratitude, her sweet and loving servant spirit. How I remember when greeting that she would clasp your hand with both of hers, bow as is customary with her culture, then look you in the eye as she would give the sweetest smile and at the same time make that kind little giggle. Ms. Goldie was the best of greeters in our church. She had a big heart for others, and seemed to always delight the most when she knew that what she did would make another have a better day. And, most of all, she loved Jesus. Ms. Goldie, I will miss you. But, for sure- and really it won’t be long- I will see you again. Next time no little formal handshake, either, but a big ole hug!
Love you Goldie.
