Gwen White Bolin, 70, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Columbus, Georgia, the city where she was born on February 15, 1955, and spent her life surrounded by family, faith, and community.
A devoted Christian, Gwen was a lifelong member of Wynnton Methodist Church. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light throughout her life and a source of strength to those around her. She was known for her boundless compassion and open-hearted nature—welcoming everyone she met with warmth and kindness. Gwen’s courage and resilience were hallmarks of her character, inspiring all who knew her.
Gwen shared a loving marriage with her late husband, Marsh Bolin. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and shared values. The White family lived across the street from my grandparents on Forrest Rd in Columbus. I can’t remember a summer, from childhood into college years, when my sister and I didn’t spend fun times with Gwen and Jan, their parents, friends, and sweet Pauline.
I know Gwen’s heart was broken by Marsh’s passing last year and I am happy they’re together now. Gwen was a gift to this world and will be so missed by so many. I’m sending my love and prayers for all who love her.
Thanks for all the wonderful memories, Gwen.
Goodbye dear friend.
