William Dennis Harris, age 60, of Grayson, GA passed away February 29, 2016. Mr. Harris was born on March 3, 1955 in Macon, GA. He was a graduate from Southwest High School in Macon, GA, proudly served is country in the U.S. Navy, and attended Tidewater Community College. Mr. Harris was a graduate of Everest College and was Owner/Operator of Virginia Tree Service based in Virginia Beach, VA. He was preceded in death by his father, William Leon Harris; mother, Glynices Upshaw Harris Rucker; grandparents, Benjamin Franklin Harris and Marie Wood Harris; and grandson, Dillon M. Sturcken.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Barbara A. Harris; two daughters, Tiffany C. Little and Angela L. Leonard; grandson, Cody J. Sturcken; brother, Freddie Leon Harris; sister, Glenda Dobson Courson; and various nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Go Fund Me account for Barbara Culligan Harris for Husband’s funeral expenses and you may also find a link on Barabra’s facebook page. I’m not sure what to say. We had our differences and our relationship wasn’t left on good terms but I have to say you played a big part in an important time of my life. I thank you for that and for everything you have done for me. I wish we had more time but I know you’re in a better place. Just know that I will never forget you.
