Karen and Kathy,
Sorry to hear of your mom’s passing, especially so soon after you loss your dad. It was the same for me as my parents passed away within 3 months of each other. I will be in a flight to San Francisco around 6:00 AM Monday morning and will not be able to attend the services at National Cemetry but I will have you in my thoughts and prayers Monday. Safe travels to Chattanooga and back home. I have many fond memories of your parents-first time I ever rode in a convertible-soon after their marriage and it was clear they loved each other deeply.

I remember Mary Alice as a fashionista. Remember when everyone was wearing short clothes and then like a light switch turned on I see Mary Alice in a long beautiful dress. I told her she looked so pretty but I didn’t feel it was for me and she changed my mind about that . I went and got a beautiful dress and she was right I felt so classy and pretty . You were blessed to have her and Kenneth as parents . Mary Alice was a beautiful lady and I don’t remember anyone not liking her
