Hazel Lorraine Wadsworth, 70, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 3-6pm. The celebration will be hosted at her children’s home; 10746 Bilmiken Road, Fortson, Georgia 31808.
Ms. Wadsworth was born on April 8, 1952 to John Wilson and Mary Hollis Long.
Ms. Wadsworth was a graduate of Beulah Highschool. She began her working career in real estate mortgage banking, and followed this career path until her retirement. Her hobbies included antiquing and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Long, 3 brothers; James Long, Eddie Frank Long and Calvin Long, as well as 4 sisters; Joyce Egglton, Marie Bulloch, Jane Montelone and Dorothy Waldrop.
She is survived by her children; Ted Day, Cynthia Bankston (Robert), Susin Reynolds and Jason Eaton, grandchildren; Erika Day, Saylor Day, Ashley Myers, Shaley Myers, Dylan Pabia, Abby Pabia, Chasity Haddock, Caleb Reynolds, Jason Eaton, Chelsea Eaton and Julie Eaton, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters; Claudine Wilson, Sarah Quigley and Sheryll Davidson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you bring a covered dish to the celebration of life in honor of Ms. Hazel.
The family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation – Columbus.
