Ms. Helen Philby Bowers, age 78, of Fayetteville, passed away September 13, 2021.

Ms. Bowers was born in Baltimore, MD, on June 19, 1943 to the late Charles and Helen Bowers. She grew up in Towson, Maryland alongside two brothers. Ms. Bowers graduated from Towson Senior High School. She lived in Indiana for many years where she raised her three children. Ms. Bowers was a loving mother and homemaker. She also worked for Custom Heating and Air Conditioning for a time. In 1987, Ms. Bowers returned to Maryland to care for her mother. She spent the last ten years of her life in Fayetteville, GA.

Ms. Bowers was a loving and caring woman. She was reserved and quiet. Ms. Bowers was a generous lady who would give away anything she had to help others.

Along with her parents, Ms. Bowers was preceded in death by her brother Charles Ernest Bowers. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Charles and Terri Harlan of Jacksonville, FL, Jeanette and Randy Phillips of Merrillville, IN, Ernest and Marianna Harlan of Knoxville, TN; brother: James Bowers of Fayetteville, GA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
