Ms. Jackie Jansen, of Griffith, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 22, 2019.

Jackie was known as the ‘Plant Lady’ of the 200 block of Ernest Street. She loved to be outside in her garden, play bingo at the American Legion, and play cards with her friends at the Senior Center in Griffith.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years: Edward Jansen, owner of Jansen’s Garage and Body Shop in Griffith.
