James Robert “Jim” J.R. Eubanks, age 81, of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away Wednesday February 5, 2014, one week before his 82nd birthday.  He is now home with our Lord Jesus Christ.  Jim was of the Protestant Faith.  He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.  Jim was born in Atlanta, Georgia and lived most of his life in Stone Mountain, Georgia.  He worked many years for Atlanta Yellow Pages and later retired from Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Escott Eubanks and Elizabeth Saxon Eubanks, sister, Betty Hill and brother, Clifford Eubanks.  He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Eubanks of Powder Springs, Georgia, daughter, Linda Smith of Cartersville, Georgia, brother and sister-in-law, Charles “Eddie” and Judith Eubanks of Flowery Branch, Georgia, 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.  Georgia Cremation 3116 U.S. Highway 23, Duluth, Georgia 30096 is assisting with arrangements 678-584-0914, condolences may be made at www.GeorgiaCremation.com.
