Mrs. Jeanie Lia Ashley, age 49, of Jonesboro passed away on March 10, 2019.

Jeanie was born in Riverdale on July 18, 1969. She graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1987 and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Clayton State University. Jeanie was a purchasing agent in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. She was a long-time resident of Clayton County where she raised her son and daughter. She was a loving mother who spent many happy days at her children’s softball and football games cheering them on. Jeanie was a born-again Christian. She was the life of the party who enjoyed music and attending concerts. She will be remembered for her love of life and family.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her father Wendell Reagan. She is survived by her husband: Robert Ashley of Griffin; children: Jeremy Undseth and Sara Ashley, both of Griffin; mother: Irma Reagan of Jonesboro; sister: Evie Jackson of Macon.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Lakewood Church of Hope, 1766 Lakewood Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30315.
