Jeff was a devoted Christian and a member of New City Church in Macon. He had an amazing relationship with his lord and savior, having accepted God into his life. He knew the lord and his scripture well, and Jeff could tell you anything you wanted to know about the Bible.
In 2022 Jeff married Kimberly Smith. The couple met 35 years prior and after a lengthy period of time apart they took a chance to meet back up with each other and were wed 15 days later. Their love for each other never wavered.

Jeff will be missed. He was a good ‘growing up‘ friend with my two boy for many years.
David Legeros says
I remember when Jeff checked me out in the Diamond DA-20, a two-seater training airplane that had the lines of a fighter jet trainer. We did “aerobatics” over Tara Field, slamming the stick and giggling like schoolboys. When Jeff would show up at AirTran to fix a maintenance item, I knew that I was in the best of hands.
Captain Jeff, I know that you will ACE your checkride and earn your Airline Transport Pilot Angel Wings In Heaven. God has prepared many Mansions, but for you, He has a Divine Hangar full of all kinds of airplanes and helicopters that you can fly whenever you want.
May you always enjoy VFR weather and tailwinds in your journey to heaven. Save me a spot on your schedule for when it’s my turn. I want you to instruct me.
Godspeed my Brother.
