John Henry Roy Pfeiffer, aged 70, and resident of Cusseta, Georgia, peacefully passed, on June 22, 2020.

Born December 22, 1949, Karlsruhe, Germany. As a Vietnam Vet, John proudly served his country in Germany, relief missions to Jordan, and in Vietnam. He was a warehouse distribution manager for San Souci Distributing, a vending repair tech for Tom’s Foods. He was a selfless and quietly kind soul who  loved his family, gardening, the outdoors, and fishing.

He was the son of Sgt. Vincent K. Pfeiffer (deceased), and Anneliese M. Pfeiffer (deceased) of Columbus, Georgia.

He is survived by his former wife Myra S. Tinney, their Son, John Pfeiffer, and their daughter, Geri Lynn Pfeiffer, his two brothers, Vincent F. Pfeiffer Jr. and his wife Cindy, of Woodbridge, California, and Herbert K. Pfeiffer and his wife Deborah, of Shiloh, Georgia, his Niece, Dorothy Pfeiffer Wiggs, of Parkesburg, Missouri, Tasha Pfeiffer, of Columbus, Georgia,  Herbert Pfeiffer Jr., U.S. ARMY.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM EST on Wednesday, July 8 2020 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with military honors. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, everyone in attendance is required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be strictly enforced.

    Myra, John and Geri Lynn–My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. I didn’t really know John–only met him a few times–but the last time we were together–was so much fun—I did get to know him a little better during that time. As others have said—he has 2 most precious kiddos that I love very much. Sending hugs and blessings.

    I was his last wife. We were together for 23 years. To know this happened is very upsetting to me and painful. John is in a much better place now. And I will miss him so much. Rest in peace now as I always loved you John. 🙏❤❤
