Jonathan Jacques Joel Caldwell

Share

Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Jonathan Jacques Joel Caldwell was born January 16, 1972 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to the late Donell McDonald Caldwell and William James Caldwell.  After obtaining his high school diploma, Mr. Caldwell followed his love of cooking, having worked as a chef for various restaurants including Nonic and Homewood Suites. His specialty was Creole and New Orleans style cuisines. His family always loved his crawfish boils for the great food and fellowship. He always lived by the motto of “family first.”

He was a former member of the New Life Bible Fellowship in Macon, Georgia and Faith Tabernacle Community Church in Columbus, Georgia. In his spare time, Mr. Caldwell enjoyed fishing and barbecues but also picked up the hobby of skateboarding.

Mr. Jonathan Caldwell, 45, of Fortson, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents and brother, Carl Caldwell. Survivors include his siblings, Shirley Caldwell Beasley and husband, Dennis of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lisa Caldwell Bolt of Houston, Texas, Denise Caldwell of Columbus, Georgia, Mark Caldwell and wife, Michelle of Jacksonville, Florida, Katie Caldwell Mainor of Columbus, Georgia, and Nicole Caldwell of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his maternal aunt, Costella M. Edwards of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and a host of extended family members and friends.

The family will hold a private celebration of life service at a later date.

The Caldwell Family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation, 7500 Veterans Parkway, Suite A, Columbus, Georgia 31909, 706-577-0055.
