Joseph Lee Malone, age 74, died June 17th, 2023 at Bridgeway Hospice, Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Joe was born April 21, 1949, in Columbus, GA to the late Ulys Grant Malone and Avis Wadsworth Malone. Joe was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Columbus, GA. Joe was a 1967 graduate of Jordan High School, Columbus, GA. He served two years in the Army. Joe was employed with First National Bank for many years as a computer operator and later had many jobs in Columbus and Atlanta.

Joe is survived by his only brother, Grant Malone, and sister-in-law Sheila Malone of Columbus, GA; niece, Kristi Malone Boyd, and husband Jimmy Boyd; great nephew Ashton Malone Boyd; and a long-life friend and caregiver Carrie Cox of Stone Mountain, GA.
