Joseph Michael Lepine

Share

Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Joseph Michael Lepine “Joe”, age 21, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021.

He was born May 26, 2000, in Lawrenceville, GA.  Joe graduated from Brookwood High School, May 2018. Joseph enlisted in the US Army in February 2021 and graduated from basic training from Ft. Jackson, SC in May 2021.  Joe then went to AIT at Ft. Lee, Virginia, and graduated in July 2021.  In August 2021 Joe began at his duty station, where he served as a petroleum supply specialist with the 194th Division Sustainment Support Battalion at Camp Humphreys, South Korea.  Private First Class, Joseph Lepine, was posthumously awarded the Army Commendation Medal.  Joe was very proud of his service in the US Army.  Joe was known to light up a room with his infectious personality and boisterous laugh.  Joe had an extreme love of sports, and all things LSU athletics.  Joe will be missed by many friends, all over the world.

PFC Lepine is survived by his loving parents Donna and Karl Lepine; paternal grandparents, Ronald and June Lepine and his maternal grandmother, Joanne McJunkin; his proud older siblings, Audrey and Dudley Rodriguez, and Maddie Lepine; his loving dog nephew, Koda Bear; and many loving extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond McJunkin and Aunt Angela Lepine; we find great comfort knowing they are together, watching over us.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brookwood High School golf team; checks can be mailed to 1255 Dogwood Rd Snellville, GA 30078, in memory of Joe Lepine.

A memorial service will be held on January 8th at 2:00 PM at Honey Creek Woodlands Cemetery in Conyers, GA. A celebration of life will be held at 1123 Dogwood Rd, Snellville, GA immediately following.

I read about Joseph and felt I should write to you and the family. I did not know them but as part of my Christian ministry I want to offer you some words of comfort and hope as you grieve the loss of your loved one. The bible describes the world we live in at 2 Timothy 3:1-7. Perilous and critical times unlike any other time in history we have to deal with. Unfortunately Joseph lost his life to death and I am sure your hearts are sadden.
The good news is that Our Creator can read Joseph’s young and beautiful heart and He wants him to live forever.
Jesus, God’s son said at John 5:28-29 that in the future all those who’ve died will be resurrected. The bible further says that in the future the earth will be cleansed and full of God worshipping people.
(Psalm 37:10,11,29). We will live forever and death will be no more (Revelation 21:3-4). These promises from God are for us all. I hope you and the family find comfort and peace during this difficult time.
You will see her again! Please stay strong and keep praying my friend.
For more information and bible comfort please go to JW.org and search any bible question you want and I promise you will find the answers you need.

    Your friend in Christ,
    Cliff

Three years later and I still find myself looking for you, Joey. There are no words just an empty space that you left on all of our hearts. I will never know why. There is so much comfort knowing you are still with us as our angel and that one day I will see you again. Nothing has been the same since you have been gone. I hope you know how much we love you. Thank you for everything , I love you so much.
