Joyce Ann Sobotor, age 73, of Auburn, Georgia passed away on January 15, 2021. After a long battle with multiple illnesses, she passed away peacefully in her sleep with her youngest daughter, Debra, by her side.
Joyce was born on August 10, 1947 to Geneva and Alvie Morgan. She grew to be a beautiful woman with a radiant smile. She started her family at young age so life was not always easy for her, but she proved to be hard working, determined, and extremely resilient. At the age of 38, she met the love of her life, “Bob”. She was blessed to be able to spend the next 20 years of her life with him in absolute happiness.
Joyce is proceeded in death by her parents, Alvie and Geneva Morgan; her sister, Betty; and her beloved husband, Alphonse Robert John “Bob” Sobotor.
Joyce leaves behind four children: daughter, Barbara Eubanks (Denny Eubanks) of Smiths Station, AL; son, Jonathan Holmstrom of Stockdale, Texas; daughter, Donna Nuttall (Steve Nuttall) of Alpharetta, GA; and daughter, Debra Miller (Greg Miller) of Auburn, GA; fourteen grandchildren: Aaron DiLorenzo, Anthony DiLorenzo, Jonathan Sobotor, Christopher Sobotor, Leah DeAnn Holmstrom, Casey Lynn Holmstrom, Rachael Nicole Holmstrom, Sarah Ann Holmstrom, EMFA Jayna Miller, USN, Deven Pruitt, Donna “Addi” Miller, Robert Sanders, Justin and Jennifer Sanders, Sarah and Frankie Clark; two brothers, Clay and Carl; four sisters, Gloria, Patsy, Mary, Sue; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service for Joyce Sobotor will be held at 10 AM on Saturday January 30, 2021 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home (Chapel), 300 Simonton Road, SW, Lawrenceville. GA 30046.
