Joyce Jackson Hurst, age 82 of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Decatur, AL, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013.  Joyce was born Monday, May 4, 1931.  A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joyce Jackson Hurst will be held 2 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Kingswood United Methodist Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingswood United Methodist Church 5015 Tilly Mill RD, Dunwoody, GA 30338 www.kingswoodumc.org (770)457-1317.

Joyce was a long time member of Kingswood United Methodist Church, where she spent countless hours in service to God and the Dunwoody community.  She served the church as a receptionist, youth leader, Sunday School teacher and on several standing committees.  She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
