Kathy Ann (Gatlin) Eddings, age 65, went to be with our Heavenly Father on September 11, 2024. Kathy passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after her battle with stage 4 brain cancer.
Kathy was born on the 4th of July 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Conrad Gatlin and Martha (Goode) Gatlin of Conley Georgia. She is preceded in death by her brothers Ronnie Gatlin, Larry Gatlin, and Jerry Gatlin.
She is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Carrie (Gillingham) Knuckles of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her son Cody Eddings of Norcross, Georgia; and 3 beautiful grandchildren; Adrian Knuckles, Quinton Knuckles, and Olivia Knuckles of Lilburn Georgia; along with a niece Roxane (Gatlin) Schiliventz of Atlanta Georgia and nephew, Richard Gatlin of McDonough Georgia. Kathy also has several cousins and many friends.
She was a 1977 graduate of Morrow High School in Ellenwood, Georgia. Kathy was a WEIGHT MANAGEMENT COACH at Healthy Stepping at Kat’s Corner. She loved cooking good healthy meals and spending time with family, friends, and animals.
She has lived in Conley GA, Roswell GA, Panama City FL, Reseda CA, Stone Mountain GA, Miami FL, Norcross GA, and Lawrenceville GA.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
Georgia Cremation in Duluth is assisting the family with arrangements.

So very sorry to hear of her passing. I know life wasn’t always easy for her. She was such a beautiful, sweet lady. I didn’t know her well, but was glad I had met her. So very sorry what all she had been through. Thoughts and Prayers for her family and friends. May she RIP.

Kathy was a special lady. We would talk about health stuff. Growing up on Richard rd. She loved my brother Tino and would tell me stories. She will be missed so very much.
