Goober was a one of a kind man, he had a way with people like no other. Everyone loves the spikey hair man! He taught me how to collect and sale but most of all was a great friend for many years. Goober our laughs was plenty and conversations will never be forgotten. I know you’re in a better place now. Prayers for all of the family and friends. Football season will never be the same but just as he would say about Nick Sadan being versatile we have to adapt and over come and know you’re looking down on us as.

There is not enough space for me to talk about him here. I love you brother and always will.

I love my cousin Goober. He was the best and always had a smile on his face. Goober knew how to make a stranger feel welcome at family holidays and the Alabama games. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Rest in peace Goober. It won’t be the same without you. I love you.

Goober is family to me, but not just because he was married to my cousin. We were brothers in blue. I want you all to know that Goober was “a good officer”. That doesn’t seem like much of a compliment to non-law enforcement folks, but within that community it is actually high praise. I am proud to have served with him.
Rest easy, brother. You are loved and will be missed. RTR

One of the best guys I ever worked with in 30 years of Law Enforcement. I’m happy that I got to speak with Goober several times over the past few months. His soul is blessed and will truly be missed!

Goober and I went to school together at Manchester High School. He was loved and respected by everyone. He had an outstanding personality and a caring heart. My last memories of Goober were memories of him bringing his daughter to school in Harris Co (NMHE) and he would walk in with her EVERY morning and walk her to her classroom with a smile on his face (as any proud father would) with his daughter’s hand in one hand and coffee and a breakfast treat for her teacher in the other. He truly had a special love for his Tiffany! May God be with her and the rest of the family during this time.
