Larry LaDon Starks
March 10, 1957 – December 13, 2022
Larry Starks, 65, of Columbus, GA, passed away December 13, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. A vigil is scheduled for Friday, December 23, 2022, beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Hill Watson Memorial Chapel At Rose Hill, 2919 Hamilton Road Columbus, Georgia 31904.
Larry Starks was born March 10, 1957 in Tampa, Florida to the union of the late Sammie Lee and Marietta Starks, which preceded him in death. Larry is also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Starks (Ann) and three sisters, Marie Annetta Morgan (Kenneth), Sheila Smith and Joann Hale (Leonard).
Larry attended Jordan High School. He was employed with the Columbus Consolidated Government. After serving 30 years he retired as an Equipment Operator II in the Public Works Department. Larry enjoyed fishing, going to the movies and spending time with his family and friends.
Larry leaves to cherish his loving memories, five daughters: Shawanda Starks of Montgomery, Alabama, Mary Wyckstandt (Robert) of Winder, Georgia, Tiffany Foster Starks of Newnan, Georgia, Kimberly Bryan and Jasmine Starks, both of Fairburn, Georgia; three sisters, Barbara Ann Lawrence (Loke) of Columbus, Georgia, Mary J. Hudson (Wilbert) of Lithonia, Georgia, Sandra Starks of North Carolina. Larry is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, special grandson Private Tevondre Starks of The Marine, special cousin Darius Love, special nephews Teveres Starks, special friend Cecil Daniel, other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Dear Family. I am Praying for you all and love you all. We are all saddened by Larry, my Wonderful Cousin’s passing. He will truly be missed by his family, all who knew him or came in contact with him. He loved The LORD and he Accepted HIM as his LORD and SAVIOR so we know that Larry is with HIM. Darius love. Larry was very very very special to me , I loved him and his family. God placed him in my life as a child all the way to now at 50 yrs old. Am hurting but I no his with our lord and saviour 🙏 he taught me so much, I called him bass master great fishing man 🎣 . man of God also he loved God and his family.❤ frends.
