Lawrence Emon Songer, age 83, of Johns Creek, died April 19, 2025. He was born in Mt. Airy, Tennessee, to the late Elijah Songer and Willie Mae Graham Songer.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Songer; son, Troy (Amy) Songer; sister, Willene (Stan) Johnson; sister, Louise Islam; grandchild, Abigail Songer; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Canton, GA. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Monroe, GA.
Georgia Cremation in Duluth assisted the family with arrangements.
