Linda Bridges Hodges
September 30, 1953 – February 7, 2026

Linda “Lynn” Bridges Hodges was born on September 30, 1953, and spent her early years in Griffin, Georgia, and Flagstaff, Arizona. She passed away on February 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of determination, loyalty, and deep love for her family.

Lynn was a woman of many talents and accomplishments. She built a successful career as a real estate broker, building contractor, and frame shop owner. One of her proudest professional achievements was serving as President of the Griffin Jaycees from 1990 to 1991, a role she embraced with dedication and leadership.

Above all else, Lynn was proud of her family. She devoted her life to raising her daughter, Marcy, and caring for her beloved husband, Larry. Her strength shone especially bright through her lifelong battle with rheumatoid arthritis, a challenge she faced with resilience, grit, and unwavering resolve.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Larry; her daughter, Marcy Patterson, and son-in-law, Jay; and her cherished grandson, Jacob Patterson. She also leaves behind her sister, Pat Bell; her brother, Ron Polk; and her special friend, Tabitha Couch.

Lynn was known for her strong opinions, fierce independence, and steadfast convictions. If you were fortunate enough to call her a friend, you knew you had her loyalty for life.

Those who wish to commemorate Lynn’s life are encouraged to do so in their own personal way—honoring her strength, her honesty, and the indelible mark she left on those who knew and loved her.
