Linda Gayle Snider, 72, of Columbus passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born at Fort Benning, Georgia, the daughter of Truman William Davis and Alma Motsenbocker as well as stepfather John Motsenbocker. She retired as a customer service representative with over fifty years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she enjoyed shooting pool, camping and playing volleyball and softball. She loved her family and loved being at home to cook for them. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Amy Hagler.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years, Jerry Snider of Columbus, GA; children Beth (Derrick Finney) Mathena of Freeport, FL, Jason Myers of Columbus, GA, Sandy (Scott) Seeley of Smiths Station, AL and Mandy Snider of Columbus, GA; sisters, Diane Callinan of Texas and Christi Wallace of Washington; grandchildren, Stephen Mathena, Haleigh Guthrey, Kaytlyn Myers, Ryan Finney, Raylon Finney, Caiden Seeley, Rylee Seeley, Cooper Seeley, Gray Myers, Justin Dunn, Jeremy Dunn, Jared Dunn, Asheligh Dunn, Cameron Hagler, and Conner Hagler; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces nephews, extended family and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 5424 Orchard Drive, Columbus, GA from 12 until 2 PM.
Georgia Cremation – Columbus is assisting the family with the arrangements.
