Linda “Lin” Nell Plitt Yendall, age 66, of Buford, Georgia, passed away in her home on February 26, 2019, surrounded by her immediate family, after a long struggle with cancer. She was born in Baltimore, MD on February 17, 1953 to parents William P. and Alice O. Plitt.

Linda graduated from Western High School in Baltimore and attended Baltimore Community College. She worked for Verizon for almost 30 years, completing her career in service and account management. Linda was a master gardener and a self-described “foodie”,  a fervent Baltimore Ravens fan, and known for her hospitality and love of hosting parties. She was quick to use a snow day as an excellent excuse to bake cinnamon rolls for the neighborhood.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William P. and Alice O. Plitt and her brother, Robert Plitt.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Megan Yendall Kearney (Kevin) of Loganville, GA;  son, Tim Yendall of Herndon, VA; grandchildren, Madeline, Caiden and Liam Kearney of Loganville, GA; brother, William B. Plitt (Glenna Kay) of Arlington, VA; nephews, Todd and Jefferey Plitt; and countless friends who she loved like family as well as the many lives she touched by her generosity.
