Shelley Finch-Wagner says
I am sorry Linda is gone. Even though we didn’t talk much over the years since we left Monroe and Georgia, in May of 1996, I feel like I lost my other Sister. I had eventual plans to visit GA and Linda in the next few years. She was such a loving woman who gave me strength in my parenting and got me to do cross stitch, which I refused to do in my classes of needlepoint, and embroidery.
We had a deep love of the Lord which we shared and when I felt all my joy had been sucke out of me, she helped me get my Joy back.
When you guys bought the house in Monroe, I was so miserable without Linda next door. After the storm, of the century, a blizzard in 1993, and the Down burst in Monroe, Linda came and asked the kids and me to spend the Days when Craig was out of town. I had so missed y’all and fell in love with Monroe. I decided those days in Monroe that I had to live closer to my Bestie and in a much nicer area Law’ville. I will miss her so much, knowing that the next time I see her will be when I go home to our Lord. Craig, Craig Jr., Dustin, and Holly my heart hurts that she has gone home. I will keep y’all in my prayers and my heart. Please know that even though it has been 26 years since we have seen each other, I have always considered you my family. I love all of you and hope I will shortly get to come home to Monroe.
