Lisa Marie (Johnson) (Boucher) Sickler, 60 made the eternal transition to join her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She passed away at the residence she shared with her husband, Scott J. Sickler in Sharpsburg, Georgia.
No one ever was more loved and respected than the beautiful, kind, compassionate and understanding Lisa Marie Sickler.
She was born on February 3, 1964, to Albert Emil Johnson and Therese (Perron) Johnson in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Lisa was a graduate of David Prouty High School, Spencer, Massachusetts. She then graduated from Worcester State College, Worcester, Massachusetts with a degree in Education. Lisa began her teaching career at North Brookfield Elementary School in North Brookfield, Massachusetts. Lisa and Alfred Boucher were married on July 22, 1988. They moved to Georgia where they were both successful educational professionals with Fulton County Schools.
Following her first husband’s death, Lisa married Scott Sickler on December 21, 2015.
Lisa is survived by her husband Scott Sickler; her sister Laurie Johnson Dimambro and her husband Anthony Dimambro of Fenton, Michigan; nephews Joseph Dimambro and his wife Naomi Dimambro of Haslett, Michigan and Dominic Dimambro of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; niece Angeline Dimambro of Brooklyn, New York; great nieces: Stella and Saya Dimambro, (children of Joe and Naomi). In addition, she had special cousins Mike and James Pervier, as well as numerous other cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Emil Johnson and Therese Johnson, and her beloved aunt Bernadette Pervier.
Lisa had a deep love for Jesus and exhibited her love for her Creator in every aspect of her life. Lisa truly touched the face of God and is now smiling all across the golden streets in Heaven. She loved her students, co-workers, her church family and took pride in all. Love was a constant factor in her life throughout each day. She loved pool time, was a voracious reader and a Harry Potter fanatic. Lisa enjoyed a plethora of friends throughout her six decades and no one was more gracious, loving and giving than “Ms. Sickler”.
Lisa adored her three cats (Butterscotch, Coco and Freya, 60 pounds of fur) and many thousands of young children through a nearly 40-year career. She was a special lady, and the children loved her back just the same.
