Louise Taylor was born August 25th, 1937 thru the union of John and Martha Cater along with siblings (Alice and Dave) in Montezuma, Ga.
Louise Taylor, age 81, went to join our most high God October 11, 2018. Cherished memories of Louise will forever live on thru her children Larry, Martha, Wesley, William, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Louise loved life and the opportunity to travel to numerous places (Las Vegas, Texas, New Orleans, Trinidad) and even back home to Montezuma. She expressed her spirit thru music, dance and exercise. Whether it’s the Mayor’s Ball, Mardi Gras, YMCA doing Zumba or putting on her favorite records from B.B. King to Shirley Caesar. She even tried her hand at acting by taking classes and landing a small role in a movie.
Louise’s passion for God made her a servant thru volunteer work (orphan to senior citizens homes) awarding her volunteer of the year along with being apart of various ministries and the choir. She was a loyal friend to many and matriarch to her family. She spent many years imparting wisdom, knowledge, and the word of God into her children, grandchildren and others she came into contact with.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband: Preston Taylor; parents: John and Martha Cater; sister: Alice “Sister”; brother: Dave “Bay Bay”; grandson: Adaire. She is survived by her children: Larry Respress of Atlanta, Martha White of Atlanta, William (Trinetia) Respress of Nashville, and Wesley Respress of Atlanta; grandchildren: Jametrix, Chartedrick, Meyon, Deyontae, Janard, Khandis, Wesley(Wes), Keyonna, Niquelle, Lemuel, Doron.
A Memorial Service will be held in Louise’s honor on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Georgia Cremation, 1086 Highway 54 West, Fayetteville. Family Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. The Louise Taylor’s family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation.
