On Monday, October 14,2024, Malinda McEwan Register passed away in Columbus, Georgia due to complications from diabetes and kidney failure.  She was 65 years old and born in Flint, Michigan.

As a proud graduate of Ferris State University, she pursued a career in computer programming for forty years.  As a systems analyst at Global Payments (TSYS), she specialized in the coding and design of real-time authorization systems for banks and credit card companies.

In her free time, her passions were painting and gardening.  Her quiet loving personality was matched with a fierce and passionate support for her family and a strong, determined work ethic.  She is survived by her husband, Richard; father, Jack; brother, Dennis; sister, Martha; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance Gathering for Malinda will be held Friday, October 18th at 1 pm at 240 Walton Street in Hamilton, Georgia.  Though flowers will be gladly accepted, donations to the Red Cross for hurricane relief are also appreciated.
