Mark Clendenin McCourt was born October 3rd, 1962 in Rockford, Illinois to Sandra (David) Thompson and the late David McCourt. He spent approximately 25 years of his life working as a truck driver. When he was not out on the road driving, Mark could be found at his home. He was a homebody and really enjoyed watching television. He also had a love for working on cars of all makes and models, but a Ford was his favorite.
Mark C. McCourt, 56, of Box Springs, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at his home. He is preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry McCourt, four children; Mark A. McCourt, Tommy Beair, Jeffery Beair, and Misty (Jerry) Walker, grandchildren; Bethanie, Brandon, Brooklyn, and others; three siblings; Daniel McCourt, Shawn McCourt, Rebecca Carr, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, one nephew, one great-niece, and two great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 5th, 2019 at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, 1164 Pine Knot Road, Box Springs, GA 31801.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to this GoFundMe account to assist the family with final expenses.
