Mark Eugene Stevens, 56, of Cusseta, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown.
Mark was born September 29, 1963 in Newark, Ohio to Charlotte Morgan Tackett and the Roy Lee Stevens and raised by his stepfather, Bob Tackett. He was a graduate of Mountain View College in Texas obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business. Mark was very close to his wife Terrie and grandson Brandon. He spent his whole life making sure that his loved ones were happy and taken of. Mark loved dogs and had two very special rottweilers, Keesha and Makita. Mark also enjoyed spoiling his kitty, baby girl. Mark enjoyed good music and helping with their sound. His hobbies included boating, the love of music, and his family. Mark was self-employed as an appliance technician.
Mark is preceded in death by his step-father Bob Tackett. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Terrie M. Stevens; daughters, Jonita (Joshua Summers) Byers and Letisha (Chris) Dickerson; grandchildren, Brandon Byers, Aliyah Dickerson, Chrisalyn Dickerson, and Wesley Dickerson; mother, Charlotte Tackett, sister, Kelli (Mark) Dixon; nieces, Jenna Dixon, Robin (Matt) Lenzi, Sophia Lenzi, and Julianna Lenzi; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will hold a visitation, which they instruct for those wishing to attend to contract the family for details. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
