Mary C. Rutherford, age 79, of Decatur, GA passed away on September 9, 2022.
Mary was born in Roanoke, VA to parents Dallas and Virginia (Anderson) Craddock.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sarah Josephine Rutherford; and seven of her siblings.
Mary, married for 60 years, is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Rutherford, Jr; daughters, Patricia Wade (Mike), Theresa Brady (Jim) and Rachel Baggett (Jeff); brother, Michael Craddock (Debbie); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Decatur, GA, where Mary and her husband have been members of the church for many years. Following the Funeral Mass, a reception will be held in the Julie Room at the church.
The Funeral Mass may be viewed livestream on the church website and on the church’s Facebook page.

I’m sorry you are gone but you are still here with us in our hearts. I had you for 32 wonderful years as my mother n law. But I never looked at you like that. You and Jim (pa) filled a void in this old boys heart. I called you mom. That’s how I will know you in Heaven…mom with my mother. Love you mom I miss you. Your son mike wade.
