As a navy wife, Mary and her family lived in many places, but she spent most of her life in Mystic and Pawcatuck, Connecticut. Much of her work life she was employed as a bank teller which allowed her to meet and befriend many folks from the area. Many would describe Mary as a “character” that took great joy in making people laugh.
Mary loved her pets, and was extremely fond of reading and working through crossword puzzles. She loved to celebrate the holidays as it always gave her the opportunity to spend extra time with her family. She is remembered for her outgoing personality and friendly attitude as she loved children and never met a stranger. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. It goes without saying that her family will miss her deeply.
