Mary Jane McCarty, age 89, of Duluth, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.  Mary was born Monday, December 14, 1925 in Marion, Ohio to Ernest James and Bertha Katrina (Davis) Bowen.  Survivors include her children, Sara Smith Corbett of Benson, AZ, James Robert Davis(Joan) of Marysville, OH and Lila McCarty (Chris Green) of Duluth, GA.  Mary is also survived by grandchildren, Shane (Grant) Partington, Jimmy (Lisa) Davis, Chris (Amy) Davis, Tonya Smith Stoddard, Rhonda Smith Dyer and Alice Smith Pedersen; along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and also very good friends, Penny and Art Johnson, and Mike and Tammy Seel all of St. Petersburg, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Bertha Bowen; one sister, Maxine June Petty; two brothers, Ernest (Bud) Bowen and Jack Curtis Bowen.  Mary was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ralph E.
