Michael Lamar Matthews, 43 years old, passed on from this life on November 19th 2023. Michael was born in Riverdale on December 28th 1979 to parents Sarah House and Eddie Matthews. 

Michael grew up alongside sisters Alicia McLane and Kristi French. Michael spent most of his life in the Hampton and Griffin area. He attended Griffin High School, class of 1997. He had a special love for his dog, Sam. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Lamar Matthews. He is survived by his son, Noah Matthews; mother, Sarah House and step-father Robert House; step-mother Karen Matthews; sisters Alicia McLane and Kristi French; nieces and nephew, Hannah, Bethany and Dylan McLane. 

Michael is remembered as a loved son, brother, father, and friend. He will be remembered in the hearts of many who knew him.
