Nancy Faye Lifsey, age 50, of Stone Mountain, passed away June 26, 2020.
Nancy was adopted at birth and grew up in Tucker alongside her younger sister, Virginia. She attended Tucker High School where she made many lifelong friends. Upon graduation in 1988, Nancy began working for a cell phone company. At the age of 30, Nancy sought out her birth relatives and discovered a large and loving family including her biological mother, sister and brother. Nancy lived in Gwinnett for some time before moving to Daytona, FL. Nancy loved the beach and living near the ocean. She eventually returned to Georgia where she worked for Adele Sausage company for the next several years. Nancy spent the remainder of her life in Gwinnett County, GA.
Nancy was outspoken and friendly. She had a fiery personality. She was a diehard Georgia Bulldogs fan who always had season tickets to UGA football games. Nancy often showed her team spirit by wearing one of many Bulldogs tee shirts. Nancy loved the beach, especially the Gulf of Mexico. She was social and enjoyed spending time with her many friends. Nancy had a heart for animals, particularly her late canine companions, Bailey and Hedge. Memories of Nancy will be cherished by friends and family alike.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father: Jack Harvey Tisinger. She is survived by her mother: Faye Dobbs Tisinger of Stone Mountain; birth mother and step-father: Peggy and Grady Pearson of Ball Ground; sisters and brothers-in-law: Virginia and David Dickson of McDonough, Beth and Scott Wright of Ball Ground; brother and sister-in-law: Benjy
and Jessica Pearson of Ball Ground; niece: Brooke Wright; nephews: Karsen and Jase Pearson, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private family service will be held in Nancy’s honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s honor to Southwest Christian Care Hospice. Messages of condolence may be left at www.GeorgiaCremation.com. The family of Nancy is being assisted by Georgia Cremation, 1086 Hwy 54 West, Fayetteville.
