Nancy L. McCormick, age 59 of Roswell, GA, died on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from respiratory failure after a valiant battle against Covid-19.
She was born on August 14, 1961 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late Charles R. McCormick Jr. and Mary Jane Barker McCormick. She graduated from Riverwood High School in 1979 and attended Young Harris College before beginning her career in the financial services industry. In 1998 she became a Registered Financial professional. Spanning her 40 year career, she was employed by Lehman Brothers, Oppenheimer, UBS, and recently with TruClarity as a Client Services Director. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, strong work ethic, ability to love unconditionally and a wicked sense of humor! She loved spending time at Lake Lanier, Panama City Beach, and landscaping her yard; but mostly she enjoyed her many friends and family. She was a loving mother and grandmother to daughters, Brittany and Alexandra Levine and granddaughter, Anastasia.
She is survived by siblings, Leslie McCormick Tiller (David), Gary C. McCormick (Susan), and Susan McCormick Yaksh as well as six nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to the Atlanta Humane Society, 1565 Mansell Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009 or your favorite charity.
