Norman Alvin Monfort of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed from this life on January 29, 2026, at the age of 102. Norman  was born on June 1, 1923, in Buena Vista, GA, to parents, Patrick Henry Monfort and Effie Eldora Monfort (Hogg)

Norman was married to Betty Turner Monfort, they resided in the Atlanta and Tyrone area throughout their lives together. He served in the U.S. Navy from December 1942 to January 1945, then worked as a CPA for Rhodes Furniture until retirement.

Norman is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Turner Monfort. He is survived by his son, Robert Monfort, his stepdaughter Gail Adamson Joiner, his grandchildren; Raquel McCroskey, Kate Brambrut, Gabrielle LaManna and 4 great-grandchildren.
