I remember the day I met Phil, I recently graduated from High School, 18 years old working at McDonald’s in Oakwood, Georgia, he came through the drive through every morning, same time every day, he eventually asked me out for a date and I said yes, we dated for awhile and was still dating until I had to go to New York and rescue my Sister Diane from a boyfriend who was abusing her, I brought her back to Georgia and that is simply where Phil and Diane’s story began, they had a wonderful life together, wonderful children and wonderful grandchildren, my point is if I had never met this man at McDonald’s when I was 18, there would be no story to tell, THE GOOD LORD HAS A REASON FOR EVERYTHING

What a great man!! I’m grateful to have known him, and to have him be a part of our family. My very best and warmest wishes go to his wife (my sister), and to his children. And Phil, I’m sorry I messed up your fly casting reel when you took me fishing, its nearly impossible to fix that birds nest :-)…

The Plymel family has endured so much loss in the last few years and Phillip’s passing adds to the sorrow. I rest easy in the fact they will all be reunited one day as they stand before our Father in Heaven. ✝️
Phillip will always be that adorable little boy with a huge smile running and playing in our neighborhood.
He was kind, smart, witty and now is made new again through the promise of God.
My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to each member of Phil’s family and his friends.

Phil was the kind of man who would always go out of his way to make others happy. My most nostalgic memories are spending the weekends at the Plymel house and without him constantly putting up with me being over there every chance I got my childhood wouldn’t have been as great as it was, he treated me like I was part of the family, even the times we got in trouble haha. I want to thank him for everything, If it wasn’t for him and his family I wouldn’t have these wonderful memories to cherish.
Thank you Phil

Im just now finding out that my good friend Phil has passed. Phil was one of the kindest good hearted person that I ever knew. I can honestly say I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad of him. He and I worked together doing electrical work for years. Phil never complained even when the going got tough. He was a great hearted great guy. Phil and I used to fish at Lake Jackson and then we carried out young sons fishing with us, going from memory this was around 1991. RIP my friend.
