Priscilla McBride Allison was born March 27, 1942 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Edna Pruitt McBride and Boyce McBride. Ms. Allison was the oldest child and with that came great responsibility. She was a natural leader and set the tone for her younger siblings. She was a dedicated and loving mother and homemaker for many years and was a caregiver at heart. She cared for her two aunts until their passing’s and went back to school in her fifties to obtain her LPN license. She retired in 2007 from Mountain View Nursing Home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Soon after her retirement she moved to Fortson, Georgia to be closer to her daughter and beloved granddaughters. She loved travelling with her family, spending time at the lake, volunteering with Grace Presbyterian Church, and spoiling her 2 grandchildren as much as possible. She enjoyed watching her soaps every afternoon, rooting for the Auburn Tigers, dining out and most of all going shopping.
Priscilla M. Allison, 77, of Fortson, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Edward “Wayne” McBride, and two sons, Michael and John Allison.
