Quang Tran, age 57, of Duluth, Georgia passed away on April 27, 2017 while in hospice care. Quang was born in Vientiane, Laos in 1959. He was a jeweler most of his life, a loving, caring husband and father to his two children, and a good friend with a loving heart.  Quang had hoped to return to Laos and visit his mother’s grave and his brothers. Even though he survived a liver transplant, he was not able to overcome the lung cancer that took him in the end.  He is survived by his sister, three brothers, and his two children, daughter, Sydney and his son, Tony. He is preceded in death by his mother, Quoi Tran, and his aunt, Daoluong Somphone Phackdy.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Quang Tran will be held 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 280 Simonton RD, SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30045.  The family will receive friends 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the Stateroom of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, GA.
